Dealing with Cultist (in love)

So, as I continue my discussion with a Brother in Christ to be an aide to helping him discuss Theology/Doctrine/Scripture Verses with a member of his family, i recall the certain verb to apply to my life as I am involved with this chat; Love.

Love is so essential when sharing Bible Truths with one who does not believe, as well as with those who do not believe the same Truths of The Bible (i.e. Essential Doctrines to Christianity).

I know, as well as most of you, that dealing with Cultist can be challenging, as well as frustrating.

I am convicted by the Apostle Pauls command to, "Put on Love..." (Col. 3:14). Why? because Love is the only thing that will show those you are engaged in conversation with that you genuinly care for them. We can spend all the time in the world showing those who are lost how much "we know", but that attitude is wrong. The desire we MUST have when dealing with the Lost, whether they are in a cult or not, is to Love on them.

Knowledge only goes so far, but Love conquers all.

Often we become frustated and upset when others do not see and percieve what we tell them through Scripture, but are attitude will quickly change when we conversate with them covered in a loving attitude (see 1 Corinthians 13:7).

So join with me, bretheren, in putting on Love towards the lost! It is a characteristic of Christ we must emulate, and we must understand that it is God's Love that Draws Men to repentance (see Romans 2:4). May God be pleased to use us to open the eyes of the lost with an attitude of Love towards them!
